Woke up this morning to Baker saying goodbye. Then he came back and told me baby boy was on the couch sleeping. Uh oh. Yep, more puke. It was contained in his bed and he decided to move to the couch. Poor baby, he didn't even wake us. Anyhow. Enough posting about gross stuff. I find it ironic that this happened. I don't know of ANYONE who has ever gotten the flu twice in two weeks. I'm not mad, and I hope I don't sound like I'm complaining. I'm just letting you in to the irony of my little world that currently is just within the four walls of the flu house : )
So, that said, I need to find a new series to blog about - ha, ha!!!
I was reminded this morning that everyday, even the ones we didn't see coming or the days we thought we were through re-living are still the Lord's and he creates everyone.
Psalm 118:24 This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

One of my podcasts for this week was "encouragement for moms". Something that they said stuck with me...
we're not just wiping noses and bottoms, we're nurturing eternal souls.
Of course I know that, but it's nice to hear & be reminded sometimes that our jobs are one of the most important ones!
That being said, I'm supposed to go to OMSI and I told Ryan last night that I'm scared to take Wyatt when there's a flu epidemic going around. I'm thinking I'm gonna stop and buy a pocket sized anti-bacterial hand wash, I probably just shouldn't go!
Oh and by the way....
I'm very impressed with your good attitude.
I would have been feeling REALLY sorry for myself by now!
I love reading your posts, I found it by roaming. The flu season is never fun but I've made a new tradition that when a little one gets sick with anything, we snuggle up and I read them Narnia outloud.
Oh my gosh....what a week! I am so sorry! That is ALOT of puke to be cleaning up in five days! I hope you all (especially Luke) gets to feeling better. Poor Guy...he seems like such a trooper.
